!~Khalifah Of Allah
Sunday, June 20, 2010

The idea of of being a Khalifah in this world, certainly helps to shape us in becoming a better person. Or better said, a better Muslim.

"seorang khalifah bila bermaafan perlu buang semua hasad dengki nya.."
"Im a Khalifah Of Allah. My only aim here is to becoming closer to Allah..."

Inner speeches that are constantly repeated by ourselves, or by the people around us, will determine our physical actions. How to instill a correct Islamic inner speech is by, when we see good deeds being done, we say 'alhamdulillah, I want to become like him,or even better. Words that are rewarding to ourselves is a push factor for us to do even more good deeds. However, when we see bad deeds being done, we should 'condemn' it (please be reminded that its an inner speech, not words that are being said out loud) so as to motivate ourselves from doing it to ourself.

"ehh...orang tu merokok lah! Kalau mak dia tahu yang anak die merokok,
mesti mak dia sedih kan..Aku tidak mahu melihat mak aku sedih..."

As a Khalifah, everything we do, we must make it solely for Allah. That's the power of intention, or in Arabic, its niyyat. For every good niyyat we make, we gain a pahala for it. So, why not make a biiigg niyat for something that's good. We'll gain a bigger pahala for it. =) Afterall, we are Khalifah Of Allah.

"aku datang sini nak tuntut ilm yang baru"- Simple niyyat
We should make it more bigger! Bigger niyyat equals to MORE PAHALA.

Sometimes, we(murabbi/teachers) are too 'concerned' in scolding kids who did not pay attention in class, or those who did not hand-in their homeworks, or those who are always jumping & running in class, that we tend to forget about students who perform well in class & always pay attention to teachers. Let us try to give them more attention by giving them rewards, such as praising, hugging, or give words of motivation to them, so that the rest will follow and look upon on the excellence performance.

"Class, look at Ahmad! He scored full marks for his test!
U did a great job Ahmad!
May Allah bless you!"
"Im giving this sweet to Irfan because he's the only one who's sitting
quietly in class while the rest of you are all over the places!
Good job Irfan!"
May Allah help us in becoming a better Khalifah in this world. Look at the analogy below, and try to think about it.

"orang yang dipercayai oleh kita telah dilantik untuk melamarkan wanita yang
dicintai kita. Namun, sebaliknya berlaku. Dia sendiri telah jatuh cinta dengan wanita
itu dan bertekad untuk melamar untuk dirinya sendiri."

We are born to be Khalifah, and there's a path for us to follow. We are bringing Allah's laws to show it to the world. Not our own laws. N he knows the best. =) Remember 3 rules:
1)We make ourself good
2)We help others to become good
3)We make the world a beautiful place to live
